Celebrating 5 years off-grid!🎉 What's been your favorite project we've done?
ОтветитьYou 2 are so inspirational to many don't forget that trolley inspiring. Love and light little one's 😊X
ОтветитьI think when doing that type of living and doing projects you have to work carefully that you don't sustain an injury like a broken leg.
ОтветитьThe lady is amazing. I love her very much and wish best of luck
ОтветитьI don’t even know why you are messing with a root cellar right now. Why not focus and finish your house.
ОтветитьYou should get sum gotas
ОтветитьCurious how the panels do in our monsoon season in Arizona? Do you need to protect them during storms?
ОтветитьYou both handled those tragedies with strength and resilience. I am very impressed with your courage to endure.
ОтветитьThis is a lot of work you've put before you like in olden days ! Not too many will do this! !!
ОтветитьAwesome 👍🏼
ОтветитьIt was a blessing the root cellar caved at the moment it did. Imagine if you had been in there when it broke - that could have been truly tragic. You were spared and were able to fortify. Y’all are so inspiring! 🙏🏼
ОтветитьThanks for sharing 👍😀
ОтветитьYou guys should consider planting some Racosperma/acacia trees. They flourish in deserts.Palm trees are even better
ОтветитьCongratulations on 5yrs.. Keep your heads up.. You two got this 😊👍👍
ОтветитьThank you for filling us in on all the work that you have done on your place. We live up in North Eastern AZ on 10 acres. We understand how hard it is when one of you has health problems. I have had 2 heart attacks with 2 stents in 2 years & it has slowed me down & scares him. Keep up the good work & give a big thumbs up to your brother for helping out.
Ответитьthank you for the recapitulation of the last 5 yrs!! I really enjoyed hearing the excitement in your voices re: the future! My favorite was definitely the cistern and gabion that surrounds it.
ОтветитьI had similar pain issues and discovered a sinus infection and began using a navage device that flushed out the sinus cavity w/a special salt rinse product. Then a medicated mouth wash. The infection lessened in a short time.
Ответитьi hope your going to add concrete to the mix
ОтветитьHave you heard of Peter Bigfoot? He is a survivalist who created the Reevis Mountain School. I think he might be a good resource for you.
Also, what is your elevation? Just curious.
Congratulations to you both! Your homestead is looking amazing! May your next five years be filled with wonder, amazement, and joy!
ОтветитьI think that there are more than 365 shingles, as I count 30 between each support post. So with about 24 of these posts it adds up to almost 700 shingles.
ОтветитьYou guys are incredible! Thanks for inspiring us!!
ОтветитьAlways remember and never forget, the plotters, the planners, the schemers, the artists, the dreamers, the designers the doers, the builders, the contractors, the dynamic duo, Jess and Jim, filled tamped barb wired, placed and cobbed each and every earthbag of their Dome home. A miracle of love, resilience, dedication and determination.
🎆❤🤗🎉🎉🎉
How did you test your rain water?
We Live in portal on 100% rain water.
hey y'all i am desiring to come through your area. Is that something you might entertain. I would love to give some free labor
ОтветитьCongratulations!!🎉
ОтветитьI have watched you guys from the start and have prayed for you and your success great job keep up the good work god bless
Ответитьsorry Jen but your brother looks like one of those guys that work for the CIA, really quit, when he smiles it is reserved and he looks hurt like someone broke his heart but he looks like he is there for you great stuff god bless
Ответитьagain that hand-cut colored metal you put up is called gingerbread and it was a cute idea it gives the eye something to look at and does give that facia a festive look great idea, god bless
ОтветитьBro helping out is the way.
Glad to see yall helping one another, that's how life is meant to be lived.
Build a 2x4 crane to help remove those sandbags, would make the whole adventure substantially easier.
ОтветитьWe saw your video about the monsoon and The flying Ants. My husband Rudy wants to know, " How did you conquer the Ants?" We have red fire ants in the California desert. They sting & can eat electrical wiring.
ОтветитьSo what is the plan for the collapsed root cellar?
ОтветитьPersevere through the hard part. Soon you'll be resting with your feet up! Do you give tours?
ОтветитьHappy belated anniversary you two beautiful people. We sure love what you done throughout your years out there. May God keep on blessing use your years
ОтветитьJim did you put screen on the outside pipe of the rocket stove?
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьA nice look back! Great work, folks.
ОтветитьLoved watching all the revisits in this video. Great seeing how your projects completed with ups n downs ... but achieving ... motto pick yourself up and move forward.
ОтветитьHey guys! I love your videos and am thinking about replicating some of what you are doing. Just not in the south. I have been looking into designing my solar power system and have re-watched your videos regarding their build and re-build. I noticed you do not have a lightning rod on your array. I would hate to see you have to loose your system to a lightning strike.
ОтветитьThis answers many questions I was wondering the storage container then the 5th. wheel camper trailer lots of work and more work great progress for you love the updated post.
ОтветитьYou guys are adorable. What a beautiful couple/team. I've followed you for most of the 5 yrs off and on, getting diverted to my own projects and then finding you pop up. It's always a pleasure to see your progress. I smiled all the way through your video today.....thank you so much for your inspiring fascinating manner in which you solve each problem that comes your way. Keep on trucking, the world needs people like you. God bless.
ОтветитьLove you guys! Happiness, health n hugs❤.
ОтветитьEnjoy watching you guys hope Jess feels better soon and gets full recovery
ОтветитьI can honestly say I never thought the 2 of you would make it. Though it takes weirdo’s to actually make it you 2 complimented each other. Wow you 2 did it! I love you guys ❤️❤️❤️!
ОтветитьSadly the winds were harsh on your recordings
ОтветитьLooking good! I don't want time to go faster than it has to but I'm excited to see how the RMH works out.
Ответить👏💐
ОтветитьWhat’s your plans with that empty hole that collapsed. You both have done such a great job. Where almost finish with our Strawbale house then will work on a cob tiny house for my niece to live in. How do you vent the rocket mass heater.
ОтветитьYou guys are unbelievable
