has Roxie been rolling in something?
ОтветитьI also have separation anxiety so they’re perfect
ОтветитьCuteness overload 🥰
ОтветитьI have a Poodle/Old English Sheepdog mix who had to be clipped short in November due to mats. I'm wondering if his hair will grow back as lovely as it was as a puppy.
Ответить❤ A beleza do sheepdog está na pelagem, é um cão maravilhoso e dócil, saudades do meu que se chamava Fofão e hoje mora no céu❤❤❤😢
ОтветитьOkay. Something tells me this is the breed i want! Where can you find them??
ОтветитьWe have a Old English Sheepdog ❤ very much enjoyed this video
ОтветитьI loved my Olde English!! She was a great dog, super smart, and sooo goofy! Super sweet and easy to train!
ОтветитьOld English Sheepdog are really the best, gentle giants who looove to cuddle! 😍The fact that Roxies beard is so white, means the owners tried their best to take good care of her. That is really a very difficult area to keep clean and white (!) with OES. The matted fur... yep.. not easy either to handle. It takes many hours a week of grooming to avoid the matting.
ОтветитьJust like my other dog ❤❤😂😂😂❤
ОтветитьI love the way you discuss the characteristics of the different dog breeds. Thank you!
ОтветитьNo barking...
ОтветитьMrs Irene leash tahi dog mr manny dog
ОтветитьMrs Irene dog yep 👍
ОтветитьWow!! Roxie had a ton of fur! She's absolutely gorgeous!!
ОтветитьWhen I was in my late teens, early 20s, I raised old English sheep Dogs. I got my first job as a groomer because I owned old English sheep dogs. They are my favorite breed and everything you said about them is correct. They are my favorite breed. There was a series when I was young with Doris Day called please don't eat the daisies from her movie that she was in titled by the same name. That's when I fell in love with the old English sheep dog . Roxy looks like my Sydney, who was the pick that I gave to my husband who was my boyfriend at the time. She brings back melancholy but happy memories.
ОтветитьWhat a sweet girl, she looks great even with the shave..
ОтветитьPrecious!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьSuch a good girl! I love old English sheepdogs. A couple closer to where I live (UK) has a breeding pair, they are always immaculate, shaggy giant balls of love, they are so soppy and so well behaved the owners can leave them sitting outside the coffee shop while they go in to order.
ОтветитьI had an Old English Sheepdog mix before. His hair was never matted because I combed and brushed him. If such a dog get so matted, that’s totally owner’s lack of know how or simply neglected to brush their dogs.
ОтветитьYou are amazing
ОтветитьI adore the OES. My best friend\neighbor from 40+ years ago had a lovely girl.
What an amazing transformation for the rescue in your care. You are wonderfully firmly gentle with your charges.
What a sweet dog❤🐾🐾🐾
ОтветитьI got my stepmother one. She had always wanted one. But my dad just got her mutts. That dog was like a child to her. And my father. A child that would eat you if you hurt them.

ОтветитьLest anyone be fooled by this good girl, Sheepdogs are NOT generally any type of "chill"! They are stubborn, energetic, opinionated, difficult to train (rated by studies to be about the level of a beagle, 20th percentile) and needy. Wouldn't trade mine for the world, they're also loving, funny, and playful. Did i mention playful in the not chill category, by the way? If they're the right dog for you, they will make your day every day. If they're the wrong dog for you, they will ruin your day every day. My girl was locked in a bathroom at her first home because she was so over the top. Then she went to her foster family and nipped and shoved the children and pestered her dog friend and generally drove everyone insane. Because i know how to handle her, all of her good side now comes out in spades and she is the best dog in the world, but THAT is what OES are like and it's why they frequently get in trouble.
ОтветитьShapendoes are a bit smaller, less curly haired & less clingy. Quite similar otherwise♡
ОтветитьAlso known as (to Brits of a certain vintage) the Dulux dog. 😀
ОтветитьAnybody ever see the movie, Please Don't Eat the Daisies with Doris Day? The minute that dog walked through the door I thought of it.
ОтветитьWe had an Old English Sheepdog named Charlie and she was the best dog. We paid thirty dollars for her from a guy who didn't have time to take care of her. She was so matted it took close to six hours to cut her hair.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful dog. Now that is a dog I can live with!!!
ОтветитьIf I ever get a dog it will be an English Sheepdog :) such an amazing creature
ОтветитьFluff that, lol
ОтветитьHi can you tell me which quick dry Spey did u use for grooming ? 🫶
ОтветитьNice video as always. Wander in and stay awhile 😁
ОтветитьVanessa, Roxy looks fab even with her body trimmed short. And she carries the cut so graciously! WOOF! 🐶💓
Ответитьomg the shot of her face in the dryer!!!! 😆😆😆❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьI HAVE A SHEEPDOG
ОтветитьFeeling shaggy
ОтветитьThe movie the shaggy dog
ОтветитьI have a Romanian Mioritic shepherd and they are the spitting image of the Old English. Her personality is the same and her favourite pastime is chasing the squirrels over the park with her big sister.
ОтветитьNow that's quite a transformation for beautiful Roxie.
ОтветитьCurious as to what would be the care regime of looking after a double coat that has had to be completely shaved?
ОтветитьShe was the bestest girl!
Ответитьamei
ОтветитьThere hasn't been as big a transformation for a shaggy dog since 1959.
ОтветитьOMG! She is so thin!!! I could never imagine she will be so thin without her coat... And her stoicism, where you cut her hair around the eyes... Wow!
