I'm arriving on november 3rd but I heard that you should apply for electronic VOA like one day before you go cause your time starts running since the day they approve it, is that true? or can I just apply now for my electronic visa on arrival?? and... since I'm staying more than 30 days, can I extend my visa online? or should I just apply for the 60 days visa??

Thanks for the valuable information, have several questions though:
1. Do I need to have $2000 cash with me as proof of living expenses or I can show my bank account statement on cell phone? (do they even ask for this info?)
2. If I plan to stay for two month and extend the visa once I'm inside of the country, can I get my airplane ticket for the date that is after 60 days of my arrival? Because as I understand first visa is 30 days and if I will show them airplane ticket(do they ask?) that is after 60 days of my arrival, maybe they won't give me visa for the first 30 days?

Hi Ocky, I'm from Europe and I'm travelling to Indonesia at the end of October. I'll stay there for 32 days which is more than a 30-day visa covers. Should I apply for a 60-day visa or extend my 30-day visa after entering the country? Thanks a lot for your help!
