Why did it have a Chip on the start screen you just changed the hard drive.

Well the cooling in the PS4 Pro is terrible with the amount of heat it generates.
I bought a refurbished PS4 Pro and replaced the thermal paste, thermal pads (added an extra one on the HDMI chip as well), put in a different fan and yeah it is pretty quite after that.
Also inserted an SSD but yeah now it blows out a ton of heat so now I'm looking for a cheap additional external fan to blow all that hot air out of my TV furniture.
My Xbox Series X on the other hand is moving a ton of air in comparission right out of the box.

I wanna jailbreak my ps4 but my firmware is 11.00 I need it to be at 9.00 or lower if I change my drive will it go back to the old firmware?

Had a SSD in my PS4 Pro, faster but by far slower (loading) than PS5. The Game performance doesnt effect.

I got the Samsung shield external 2TB SSD for PS4 PRO and only using 1TB with pretty much nothing on the internal

Ok I owned both BO3 version of a PS4 with 2TB, a PS4 Pro jet black renewed but sold it back because I got a PS5 after that, the experience is that all of em elevated very well.

A decent/good ssd is like 500-700mbps
A decent good nvme is 5000-7000mbps 10 times better !
You load a ps5 optimized game in seconds.

Turning your ps4 pro into a ps5 with a 50 dollar upgrade is total BS.

Also a hard drive dont improve fps or something like that.

Ps4 pro was Awesome !! Truly freaking great and i loved it.
