Thanks for reviewing the PCX, I'm trying to choose between this and the NMAX. I prefer the look of the NMAX, the dash has far more information on it's less trendy but more readable LCD and the styling looks more modern. The NMAX also seems to be roomier for tall guys like me. The fact that Honda, unlike Yamaha, have chosen to fit a drum on the rear, so no rear ABS or linked braking at all, is disappointing, especially when in Thailand they choose to fit the bike with a disc. All that said I see quite a few reports of early engine wear (oil consumption) on the NMAX which may well be a deal breaker. In short the Honda engine in the NMAX chassis would be perfect! Thanks again.

I've never thought PCX has 125L engine option in Europe, we got 160L option only in asia (with the same price tag conversion).

Great review 👍 I couldn't agree with you more about the PCX. Probably one of the best daily commuters around. Plus your only 2 negatives can be easily resolved... get a top case for your helmet & add a taller windscreen. Easy Peasy. No more negatives. 😂 I rode a PCX a lot when I lived in Asia. Now that I'm back in the States, I really miss it... So I decided to buy one! They aren't as plentiful here as they are in Asia & Europe tho. Hard to find a dealer that actually has one in the showroom. 🤔 I even get the feeling they may discontinue the PCX in the US. 😱 They didn't even announce a 2024 model here yet! Uh oh. So I am gonna try & nab a 2023 or 2022 model as quickly as I can find one. I prefer the white color PCX so hopefully the 2022. 🤞

try the Honda Forza, i call mine the GoldWing for the poor guy.... i have always riden motorcycles and never was a fan of scooters but......... buh..... the Honda Forza changed my mind. Now i sold my 1 year old Car and do everything with the Forza

Disagree about helmet space...My full face Shoei fits perfectly and so does my full face Arai. Any helmet with a gopro camera on the side won't fit in ANY scooter.

How can I get the City Grip 2's you have on the front shipped to the U.S.? I can buy the rear here, but somehow they seem impossible to purchase from anywhere in the world! It makes no sense, it's insane! I am so frustrated!

Acknowledging your points of the PCX, the Forza 125 the same engine and is better than the PCX in many areas, the downside of a Forza vs PCX side by side comparison is the far higher purchase price of the Forza 125 over PCX, 125, in addition for a few hundred pounds more you can have abandon the Forza 125 and buy a Forza 350! When leaving behind the PCX you are caught between a rock and a hard place!

I’ve got a brand new 23 plate pcx which now has enough room for a full face helmet.

lack of space for the big helmet = probably a sneaky tactic to get you to buy a top box.

2.04 complete wind blast is 100% correct. The small screen at the front is a poor design, directs the airflow right into your chest. Sold mine.

Most full face helmets will fit but check yours out at the dealership if it’s important to you. I have an XL Shoei full face helmet and it fits fine.

For build quality it seems to be Honda as 1, Yamaha as 2nd and then Suzuki as 3rd, the Suzuki Burgman 400 is a poor seller, new or used

Self-cancelling indicators would be nice, Yamaha used them, the indicator will cancel after a certain distance of travel, is it a feature banned by EU regulations?

In just a year the price has gone up about 400 quid, that's more than 10 per cent!

Sat on one of these at Honda Elche here in Alicante recently- I'm 6'1" have to say the bike felt tiny beneath me. I am thinking of buying a Honda Forza 125cc was wondering if you have ever tried one?

just got a 2018 model with 4000 miles and I have to say I am really enjoying it, a lot of fun and I cant believe how stable this is to ride at walking pace in traffic. My only real gripe is the finish is a bit poor, I have plastered the center and side stands with hammerite straight to rust paint which makes them look a lot better, I also did the underside of the frame with it as well to give it some protection from the British weather, the forks stanchions are another area that need a bit of tlc to stop the pitting.

Thanks for this excellent review. I appreciate your fearless enthusiasm. Too many reviewers feel compelled to not like anything and their reviews are fault-finding exercises, so nothing sounds very good. The "cons" you noted -- limited storage and wind protection -- are important for a prospective buyer to know about. But you did not allow them to stop you from loving an excellent bike.

Best scoot ever. I am sold mine to get Forza 350 2021 and I want to own PCX 125 again.

Looks like an excellent little bike, front end looks like the head of one of those creatures from the Alien movie franchise. BMW pulled out in front of me when I have my Peugeot elyseo 100cc 2 stroke. The Honda looks like a giant step up in comfort, safety and convenience (no 2 stroke oil can under the seat). Might pick one up for fun and maybe try doordash until it's paid for itself.

you said theres no helmet storage but the manufacturer is saying there is...

A quick google search shows that larger aftermarket windshields are availlable.
