I had some friends that lived in LA at that time. They brought me back this version recorded on a casstte tape. 6 - 8 months before Use your Illusion was released. I always liked this better than the studio version. In fact I had a hard time getting used to the studio version because I listen to this so much.

I like this version is so much more than the overly pretentious version with the orchestra and flutes. In fact I hate the album version so much it literally makes me feel queezy as soon as i hear that flute.

I see a lot of comments that are so wrong. This is Axel Rose, they did a recording of the whole album at Sound City studios here in Van Nuys California, many great artists did a recording of their music here at this studio. 🤟🏻
