ABSOLUTELY B. AND FUCK. C was kemper.. i bought kemper...

I dind't watched the all video, but at the first minutes just let all clear... the first sample (A) is the real amp everything sound crisp ... it's very easy to say cause the punch of attacks and the tail of harmonics, all transients preservaded... that is latent

the another samples is praticlement the same smash and ugly tones because the envolope of original sound was killed, the rest is just frequencys range variations, its terrible and unfortly

mixing a rock band with many tracks we needed that original transients

My guess is: Helix, Fractal, Real, Kemper. A is darkest and Helix 800 i think doesn’t have the bright cap. B is brightest and Fractal is bright sounding to me. C and D super similar but D has a bit more mids like Kemper. Let’s see how close I am!

I had to listen with audio monitors in my studio to notice the subtle differences that I do not think would be relevant in the context of mixing with drums and bass. It's important to keep in mind that for those who already have a good audio interface and recording is the main purpose, there is an option to use the native Helix software, which is cheaper. Thank you for the video.

I love your videos but I hate videos where I am asked to guess. Just tell us upfront which is which. :(

Easy, all of them sounds like sh*t

How did they feel to play, is just as important to me anyway. Would love to know the difference in feel

c and d sound the closest so I am guessing one of those is the amp and the other the profiler. can't say which is the helix or axe, but I guess a and b are one of those. though b and c sound close on some of the samples. imo c and d sounded more pleasing to the ear, a sounded worse, and b sounded good.

They sound like the same amp and everything, just with the eq knobs slightly moved

i love how under every video that isn't a blind comparison everyone comlains about how "digital" the helix is, and under the blind tests no one is complaining... confirmation bias is one hell of a drug.

I say ‘D’ for Axe FX!

I trick myself to thinking the real tube amps are better, then a test like this strips away that illusion.

After watching this video don't think you can achieve the same sounds if you buy one of those products. You have to be a very experienced user with trained ears and a lot of time available. It's not like turning on an amp and playing, it's a lot more tiring than that.

Amplitube 5 beats them all and real easy to use with drag and drop features.

D = Amp, C = Helix, A = Kemper, B = ? I liked B least. I’ll bet there’s a bigger difference if I weren’t A /B ing through my phone!

B, C, and D all have this crazy SSSHHHHH over top of them. Posting this before seeing the results. I have no stock in any of them.

They all sound the same....same enough that it is irrelevant which platform you use. Technology is great.

A - Kemper, B - Amp, C - AxeFx, D - Helix

C- real amp, D: AXE fx III, A HELIX, B KEMPER

C - not as dark as A - Kemper ??
D - not as dark as A - Real amp ??


B was my least favourite.

No sure which is which, but A sounds like it is taken from a record amzing.
B sounds like complete ass.
C and D some difference to A but quite close. Still not the same wow factor.

A: Axe FX
B: Helix
C: Amp
D: Kemper

Thanks for the shootout here! Short and sweet. Pretty amazing how they all sound so great. Def nuances, but honestly, all sound great. That does, however, have a lot to do with the player and how well you know your gear to be able to tweak your settings to get it "just right". Thanks a lot!
