How to Make Seamless Patterns in Procreate Using a Diamond Method Repeat

Hi! I’m still confused how to make a “pattern” and “extra” text there.

Does the pattern maker canvas come with the layers like you’ve shown in the video i.e Draw here first , Extra etc. or is it just the diamond layer?

I tried to follow, but the visibility of the sketches is very bad. I set the image quality to max, but it didn'y help.
