Legend
Ответитьeven when he plays the most basic stuff, it sounds fantastic!!!
ОтветитьTommy is amazing!
ОтветитьIf I ever could play the guitar half as good as him. I would be one of the luckiest men in the world.
ОтветитьGreat lesson eh? :)
Ответитьas a classical guitarist playing with your right hand fingers on a steel string guitar is sacrilegious to me
ОтветитьI still don't know if there are more guitar models or more styles to play them. Watta magic instrument.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьSo in step 3 ,the accent, are you playing the chord on beat 1 and beat 3?
ОтветитьArpeggios. That’s a big word for an Australian. 🤣
ОтветитьWonderful lesson, thank you so much
ОтветитьMaster!!!, this have to be archived to future generations. Because nobody plays like him anymore. Thank God he switch from electric guitar to acústic in his career
ОтветитьAnchor or floating hand, looking at someone like Jonh Renbourn, definitly not in the "winner camp"? Well think again, his left hand glides on the fretboard as does his right hand on the strings, movind toward the bridge or the neck and magiclly the music comes fronm the guitar like he is seemingly hardly touchind it.
ОтветитьCongratulations to everyone watching!
ОтветитьMe who stucked in Step 3 from last 1 year😒
ОтветитьThumb to keep the beat is most important, Thank you sir for us method to play. Try with big effort and time to this platform. I am Minh from Vietnam.
ОтветитьTommy is most excellent. REVERB should be avoided per my experience selling equipment through them.
Ответитьสอนสนุก ลื่นไหล เข้าใจง่าย และผ่อนคลายเวลาเรียนครับ
ОтветитьSo great, master!
ОтветитьHe's not bad is he
ОтветитьMy astigmatism made the thumbnail appear as if Tommy had a bush mustache. I was saddened to see just a clean shaven face in this instance. Tommy, I imagine a mustache might be the only thing to add moxy to your musical abilities.
ОтветитьI tried a thumbpick for a while then developed a revulsion for blood blisters where they pinched the skin I abandoned the idea.
Ответитьall good, but the last part in speed, sounds interesting... 😜
ОтветитьWhere is the video he is talking about in the end?
ОтветитьThank you 💯
ОтветитьThis man is a world heritage site unto himself
ОтветитьGREAT!!!!!!!
ОтветитьHow do you equalize the volume between the thumb pick and fingers? Also, I'm 68 and have been playing for 60 years, but I have yet to manage this style of picking.
ОтветитьHes the best
ОтветитьLove Tommy, class guy
ОтветитьYou lucky devils....ha, ha, ha...indeed. What a beautiful lesson.
ОтветитьPlay however is comfortable for you I never in life needed to anchor my hand when i was a child maybe like when I need training wheels but to each his own
ОтветитьAnyone else get the vibe that this guy is just a genuinely good dude?
ОтветитьCan anyone tell me what guitar this is and the size of the guitar? Sizes such as Dreadnought, Orchestra, Parlor etc. etc.
ОтветитьThank you very much Tommy. You are a superstar
ОтветитьI was always confused . I thought no way am I anchoring down . Well it turns out I was anchoring down . I just wasn’t epoxying down like Merle because I just can’t do his type of anchoring down . I feel more comfortable doing Chet’s anchoring. Good lesson
ОтветитьExcellent!!❤
ОтветитьHe’s such a great guy
ОтветитьSir Tommy, I've seen you perform. I'll gladly take lessons from you.
ОтветитьWhat does the trick for me is counting the on and off beats. Slow down the video and count!
1 (thumb + finger)
and (finger)
2 (thumb)
and (finger)
3 (thumb)
and (-)
4 (thumb)
and (-)
Awesome, thank you for doing this video!
Ответитьmy fingers are way too short yo be on the winning side
ОтветитьHe uses his thumb over the neck for the low E string in several chords. That had me stumped for a bit. Bar chords work fine too. Not really a beginner technique but hey, this is Tommy Emmanuel!
ОтветитьThanks a lot you are so cool an gentle i can see it in your face. Worderfull lesson👍😉
ОтветитьGreat job it’s similar to Mark knopfler style love it
ОтветитьTommy , the best as usuall. BUT, you and a lot of others, allways have that g.d. micraphone stuck in front of your RIGHT HAND. and I can't see what your doing . ANY CHANCE YOU COULD MOVE IT?????.
ОтветитьWonderful teaching. Thank you, master!
Ответить"I wanna be on that team, the winners."
