I have yet to open my watch that came free with my phone, was looking for reviews like this but one thing I cannot find much on is whether "water resistant" means it will also track indoor swimming like my garmin. Looking at the GPS results you have here in a city setting, it makes me think it would not do much better or better at all compared to a garmin when mountain biking. As nice as this watch looks, it may just go to the "sell it" pile.

Hahaha, when google releases great hardware it only "starts to compete with apple's product" vs when apple releases new hardware it defines a category.

i had issues with fitbit sleep tracking(i have a versa 2) i found that if you sync on the app before sleep and lock the phone, it would work

Changing the bands is still a huge pain in the rear end. Love the watch otherwise, but by far the most annoying band set up possible

I bought the watch based on the positive reviews and it's completely useless - loses 5%+ battery per hour of doing nothing (WITH energy saver mode enabled, so no always on display and tilt to activate), the GPS is almost useless even in small German cites (no skyscrapers or even many large buildings), and it reboots out of the blue once every one or two days. So, now I need to see how I can return it with googles confusing processes...

So Garmins are really that bad ??

I think the sleep stage tracking result is inconclusive with the result of a single night and should not show up in the device comparison chart. That's unfair.

You'll love it until you have get a charger. It comes with one but if u lose it good luck.

Bought Fitbit Sense 2 without watching his videos now i m stuck with pathetic Heart Rate Sensor watch, it does not recognise HR during exercise it only shows Below 125bpm 😢where as my Old Apple watch shows 149bpm at same time, and i can confirm what he said in his Sense 2 video is totally legit

I got one with my Pixel 8 Pro but i'm thinking about selling it because it lacks one essential feature for me ... Smart Alarm. My Sense 2 has that feature.

Wow! What an amazing comparison and expertise! Wow!

I like the watch but they need a driving mode or something. Google told me to put the watch on a charger while driving. It still counted steps on the charger in a moving vehicle. I just cut it off while driving. How annoying. Outside of this it's an all around great watch so far.

Someone who is actually using the pixel watch 2 for its health and tracking capabilities for a true review, I just received mine today and am upgrading from a Fitbit sense so this was absolutely perfect! I have now subscribed and can't wait to continue to support your channel! I do just have one question were you using the pixel watch 2 LTE or WiFi only ? Also I can't wait for your full review!

One of glaring issues with Apple Watches that you've previously covered has been the battery life. How is the battery life of the Pixel Watch 2?

Also could you touch upon the feature that these watches work in tandem with Google's Pixel smartphones? Like are there added benefits/compatibility enhancement to it if a user had a Pixel phone?
