What if the switch is layer 3?
Ответитьcan we say trunk ,do carrying traffic to same vlan id, in diffrent switch?
ОтветитьGREAT VIDEO, I remember hearing about this in a couple college classes ago and now I am in my routing and switching course where I just could not wrap my head around it and this solved all my questions!
Ответитьso ports on the router that arent trunk ports should be untagged correct?
ОтветитьWell explained, helped me understand the concept
ОтветитьIllustrations help a lot
ОтветитьNicely explained
ОтветитьThanks for taking time out to do this video; it was very helpful for me! I am finally starting to grasp the use of VLANs. I'm doing some networking at home and since I'm about to be adding IP cameras and an additional switch or two, I can see how complicated this is going to be (or can be). The video graphics were great but your speaking cadence seemed 'rushed/hurried'. It felt like you were nervous or hurrying through the material. So much so that you frequently paused to seemingly catch your breath (which can be heard as the lip smacking). That was distracting and I felt anxious but otherwise, great video! Straight to the point and detailed enough to get the point across.
ОтветитьVery helpful in helping me understand this concept thanks 🙏🏾
ОтветитьThank you for the brief explanation. It's well said and easy to understand 😄
Ответитьdoes VLAN and TRUNKING also work with LAYER1 protocols?
