21 Best Nintendo Switch Games 2022-2023 (Year 6)

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is freaking awesome but it's a somewhat slower burn than the other ones, but yeah I ended up putting 480 hours into that game and is still my most played game of all time.

I saw you 6 years when nintendo switch came out. and now 6 years later. time passed so fast.

But what if I don't want to pay for yet another subscription to simply play online... Like what games are there then? What would you recommend?

I have no man's sky on my playstation, but I'm considering getting it on switch, not because it would run better, (Cause it will probably run a bit worse) but because it makes my playstation EXTREMELY LOUD. As a lot of people apparently seem to be describing it, it sounds like a jet airplane when playing games with high-end graphics.

Glad to hear there is another Fire Emblem game out there and they went the opposite direction of Three Houses. It's the only Fire Emblem game I've started and never finished because it was WAY too dating sim-y for me.

My favorites are Xenoblade 1, Mario 3d world, smash ultimate, Mario kart 8 deluxe, marvel ultimate alliance 3, hyrule warriors definitive edition.

im sick and tired of the hundreds of new switch games being either 2d games or old ports. zelda botw shows the system can do more expansive modern game design, all the way back at release. Why arnt we getting these sorts of games more often. cant stand what the switch has become today

-I think people sleep on Resident Evil 5 and 6 which look absolutely incredible for the switch and they support online multiplayer and half screen.
-Observer is a great, great Sci-fy/Cyberpunk mystery/suspense game that runs smooth and good looking on the Switch. Hell I found myself prefering the Switch version more than my PS5's.
-Assassin's Creed Blackflag looks amazing and runs even better, greatest AC story imho.
-BioShock trilogy but specially Infinite looks and runs a little too good for me not to think there was some sort of sorcery to achieve it.
-Darkside Detective is a great 2D game and it's so fun and inmersive, the artstyle is just top notch.
-Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, because why the hell not, it's great if you enjoyed the comics or movie and lore.

Although I agree Splatoon 3 is great, to say it has fantastic performance is ridiculous. The online disconnections are way worst than the previous 2 games combined
