Jeez the interviewer needs to take a chill pill, there's no sense of respect or empathy in his voice or questions. Kudos to Eva Hart for handling it like a boss.

I believe without a shadow of a doubt the Titan sub was a victim of mankind’s arrogance just as the Titanic was. When man thinks that he is untouchable and can accomplish anything simply by the power of his wallet or his intellect fate intervenes and brings him off his ivory tower. The owners of Titanic particularly Bruce Ismay believed and actually boasted that the Titanic was untouchable and virtually unsinkable. The builders and owners of the Titan submersible probably thought the same thing. Mankind was proved wrong on both accounts. We are very arrogant and selfish society. Sometimes we have to be taught a lesson in humility

What Eva Hart said from her mother's words was "flying in the face of God" hit me hard. Nothing is really unsinkable and you cannot challenge both God and nature. All goes with God's provision in everything.

Unfortunately, all safety measures and rules are written in blood. We as a people, for some reason, lack the forethought when it comes to a possible tragedy until something tragic has already happened. It's a good thing to learn from our mistakes, but it would be better if we could learn those things before a mistake happens.

Amen to that, the ship had to few lifeboats. I can imagine and understand that it must be terrifying leaving your father on the ship and then separating your mother or other relative by changing your place to another lifeboat.

The worst interview I've ever seen, I'd expect these questions from a 10 year old. I think she knew she was talking about an incredibly upsetting subject which included her father's death with a vanity microphone.

It is really interesting that her mother had that premonition. I’ve said that so many times: to say it’s unsinkable is flying in the face of God. Such a well spoken woman. What a gift to hear her speak

Just days after the sinking, there were a handful of photographs taken of icebergs in the area of the Atlantic that the Titanic sank. If she actually saw the iceberg, I'm curious if she would be able to identify which one she believes to be the culprit. I know it was night, and she was a kid, but I would've been fascinated to show her the photographs and ask. Each iceberg in the pics has its own unique shape and characteristics.

I will say I have a hard time finding a detailed account. it goes straight to, we went to the lifeboat. There's not many details in any accounts of what they seen as they walked through, what they saw of others, the water, the deck. Even an account of someone from below deck, there was not description of barriers, how they got around them, the sigh of the water flooding in, its hard to paint a true image of what they saw.

You know I wonder if it would still be that way.women and children first. The way alot of men are today I'm afraid to say they would knock a women and child down to save themselves. That's just a ponder to myself. But it is a good question

Titanic in relation to that Ocean at those depths (12000 feet) is comparable to the size of a fruit fly in a swimming pool. Ofcourse, it could sink. Any man made object could sink at those depths.
