@isomolle Interesting, thanks. You think there is a lot of Finnish influence? It is weird, considering the war they made not so far away in time. I think Finland fits in the build up of St.Petersburg, similiar influence/ideas. Hitler even mentioned Finland in many of his speeches, but thats a whole other story of course :)

@sebaz1982 These buildings were erected when Finland was a part of the imperial Russia.

its ok brat. dont worry. i understand u. lets keep it a misunderstanding. so maybe u didnt mean to say what i thought you wanted to say (wow, starting to sound like dr.phil here). anyways; i hope u understand me. im merely talking about the environment and stage they set up there. ps millitary tattoo in moscow is now going on.. soon some impressive performances. i heard kazakstan and russians a great performance. keep an eye out. cheers my canadian friend (canadians great fighting man too)

@sebaz1982 Im Canadian, and I know about the Great Patriotic War.... and I dont even know what you are referencing. I was referring to something an old girlfriend, who was polish told me. She said that germanics had a lot of trouble learning slavic languages, and rarely truly understood them. I dont want to pretend to truly understand someone else.... but respect is very basic, and it is because of things like the Great Patriotic War, that I respect Russia. I am very sorry if I somehow offended.

@limefrog77 dont try to be wise and cool. understanding and respect are 2 different things. me and my family have enormous respect for Russia, after all they smashed fascism in our country. so careful with ur words. I dont know if you are Russian or European, but I tell you that these words are not entertained here in this part of the world. all im saying is that place does not really breath and honour Russian style. which is usualy more simple, bigger. probably because international audience.

what a strange place/surrounding... and it all looks so confusing. it's not really Russia worthy.
