Very nice. I'm suprised you didn't have a nice wood stove/oven to cook on. I wood bring up muffin mix and a muffin pan and be making blueberry muffins every morning. :) So many thing to bake!!!!

Very nice cabin. I just found your channel and I'm going to subscribe to it. Also if you want to keep your RV style toilet from freezing put some RV antifreeze in the bowl. It will also keep the rubber gasket soft and no odors will come up through it. Todd from da Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Créate a rain collection on one side of the cabin and get a 375Gallon water tote usually used for pressure cleaning business hook up an RV water pump and you can get some plumbing in the house

I m surprised you don't have water tanks to harvest rain water. Here in Australia on our bushblock we only have tank water 4 x 5000 gallon tanks we use these for the house and garden. We have showers, flushing toilet. All the water goes into a big underground tank which has worms in it. We feed t hgem with house and garden waste, the water seeps through the compost and is pumped out into trenches where it dissipates into t the soil and the trees take it up.

Stop letting armchair experts tell you what you're doing wrong. I've been off-grid in the Alaskan bush for 5+ years. You're doing great. Those dogging your efforts are just jealous of you, because they're too spineless to do it themselves.

All the wood draws mice and in turn mice draws rat snacks and other snakes and predators! I would suggest you keep the wood some distance from the cabin!

I’m currently building a tiny house and I have solar panels but not the battery bank or any of the other stuff. I’m totally clueless about that and I’m trying to find how to start. I’m just curious and acutely aware of fire because my grandfather burn to death when he inappropriately lighted the wrong type of fuel for their indoor fire, so I’m just curious with the propane tanks outside next to the wooden structure why wouldn’t you put some kind of metal flashing behind and around them to keep them separate from the wood in case a fire did start at that point?like I said, I’m overly anxious about fire because of my grandfather

I have discovered in my construction of my cabin that the best ocation for a stove is dead centre with nothing around it. I just have the roof up and I am starting the walls today. Despite this I experience the warmth of my stove. This is because the human body is very receptive to infra red radiation. Think of your stove as a huge infra red light bulb. Where would you put a light bulb ? In the middle.
