Japan is not an utopia, and it's not the only country that cares for the citizens, heck, I'd even say they don't care at all. You people only want to see the good side, but the bad side is way worse than you can't possibly counter with the good side.

People help each all the time in uk. Everyone I see tries to help disabled people but I never see English only signs that I see all over Japan. When Japan stops being so backward with regards to racism its economy might improve and then they’ll have a chance at being one of the best countries in the world.

I am Japanese. I see this scene every morning on my way to work. When the station staff is waiting like this, I board the train through the next door.

I believe that if China, South Korea, Japan, and Russia get along well, they will be able to build a perfect trade zone that can compete with the United States. I love the culture and people of China, Korea and Russia. I don't like fighting.

Japan is an absolutely fantastic country. Their level of civic responsibility is incredible. People actually give a sh*t and upon visiting it was very clear they are concerned first and foremost with Japan.

Umm, actually I see this everyday on my Metrolink train into Los Angeles. There are a number of wheelchair bound passengers who ride and the conductor brings out a folding ramp at each station one needs to board disembark.

But how can this be? Japan is probably the least diverse nation earth
