I wouldn’t want a woman who was attracted to bad boys. I lost my first wife to one. For years, friends and family watched him abuse her in all ways including physically, sometimes hitting her in front of other people. He regularly hit on other women, including my ex’s two younger sisters and slept with as many women as he could. He never worked and made my ex pay all the bills. He was an alcoholic and addict. When my wife finally got pregnant for the first time in her life around the age 40, he did what he did any other time he got a woman pregnant and ran out on her. At the time he died, I doubt he knew how many kids he even fathered in his life, and of course he didn’t care for or pay for any of them. Yet my ex and other women were loyal to him til the day he died.

I have to call bullshit. It makes no sense that women choose bad boys because it makes them feel more protected, because it's the bad boys/players that are more likely to cheat and leave her a single mum, or be an abuser. Nice guys are more likely to stick around and be faithful, so surely that would make women feel more secure? And just because a man has the confidence to approach women and ask them out doesn't mean he's a strong masculine man. It just means he's not shy when approaching women.
