How to Change the Lamp in Viqua/Trojan UV Max Ultraviolet System

What about the newer style bulb that uses a grey housing not black..there is a difference in rubber o rings too which I didn't hear you mention ??

Should be using gloves so oil from fingers doesnt damage bulb/sleeve

Do you deal with water softeners also?  A Kinetico?  What needs to be done to them?  What happens if you do not add any softener to the bucket at all?

I have a blue filter in front of the uv max where do I get the info to replace it?

The house is used about 3 mo. out of the year.  The system alarms after 12 months.  Can you just reset rather than putting in a new bulb?

My uvmax which is under 2 years old is now making a constant tone and there is now no LED Display. What could cause these symptoms?
