Why should Steam/Valve have a monopoly on the PC gaming scene? I say, let it go over the to Epic Games Store. Steam is THE ONLY place I will ever buy PC games and if it means I won't play certain games, so be it.
If they have confidence in their PC game there is no reason not to sell on Steam and just link the Account with UPlay, simple! This tells me they are not 100% confident about their Game. (TBH, the only difference I see between Div1 and Div2 is the Graphics enhancements) It still feels like Div1 with better graphics. (I own Div1)
