Hura solos all of fiction. No one can change my mind.
ОтветитьMy most memorable orc was from Shadow of War. In the game's opening region I ran into a spear-tossing orc early and died to him. A bit of intel gathering afterward to plot vengeance revealed that he was weak to fire, which made short work of him in the re-match. A while later he returns, burn-scarred but still afraid of fire, and is killed AGAIN by fire. This warped him into an insane orc whose biggest fear and weakness became his strength. When he returned again he had become the Flame-tongue, speaking of a fire goddess and his devoted worship to her, and he became the biggest thorn in my side throughout the rest of my time in that area (three fights, he killed me in two and I got him in one). At the end of my time in that opening act he appears one more time for a final duel and it took me ten minutes to fight through his horde AND fight off another orc and his gang that crashed our battle but in the end the Flame-Tongue fell, chopped in half and the first of many, many memorable rivals in SoW. He dropped a legendary sword that bore his title and it's been in my inventory ever since, and was one of my most heavily used flame weapons.
This is about when I fell in love with the Nemesis mechanic. There's nothing else like it in modern gaming.
I love SOW for the sieges and bigger system and army but I love SOM for the dark, rainy environment. The graphics almost look better bc of it
ОтветитьWhy does my game look different orcs look different
ОтветитьStarting a nemesis with an Orc:
"All good relationships begin with healthy communication."
Orc: "No, go fuck yourself!"
"Here, let me start: I like romance novels and movies, I love long walks on the beach, and my favorite color is purple."
Orc: "I don't care, go haunt somebody else!"
"But I love you. They're always in denial at first."
"I died 100 times in Shadow of Mordor (on purpose)"
Sure... get good scrub.
ngl, exact same name on my run, hura the forsworn i killed him 8 times and he still kept coming back
Ответитьok
ОтветитьThey became sex slaves
ОтветитьWhy are textures better than SOW
ОтветитьGreat opening pun. As a new father, you love to see it.
ОтветитьDude your dry sarcastic form of humor is so fucking good lmao.
Time to binge all your content.
this video truly answers the question: what happens to the orcs if you die a hundred times watching them? thank you
Ответитьthis one mf orc called throgg was iron minded and i coukdnt dominate him so i killed him and he came back 13 FUCKING TIMES
ОтветитьB
ОтветитьThey all look the same
Ответить"He made fire his entire personality, like firefighters and chefs."
Fine, you win, I'll sub.
I honestly got happy when Brogg came back
Ответитьmaking this video 720p in 2023 should be Illegal

ОтветитьI also had an orc that would be killed by me or other orcs, even being decapitated, and he would still come back. I got him as one of my captains and he betrayed me, so I would kill him, he would come back, then I would kill him again and he would come back again...
ОтветитьYou should repeat this in Shadow of War with the more updated Nemesis system. It’d be great
ОтветитьJesus, dying on purpose to see what the orcs do seems way more fun than actually playing the game
ОтветитьSpeaking of "Brogg" I had an orc that I killed 4 times!
ОтветитьI remember cutting an orc in half 3 times before I beheaded him. He just kept coming back.
ОтветитьI had a random uruk called mogg kill me once after a big bout with a captain. As it happens, this one absolute beast would destroy me every time I tried to take revenge, subsequently making him harder and harder to kill based on how the nemesis system works. Even when I ignored him, he’d turn up to torment me at random and wipe the floor with me.. an angry god of my own making. As sun tsu foretold, this bastard had already beaten me in the mind. Then after several attempts (and unwelcome ambushes) I finally beat the guy and cut his head off.. but the pain was only just beginning.
Mogg the undying had returned, and as his namesake would imply… he continued to defy death at every turn. It wouldnt matter how badly I mutilated him, he would keep coming back. He was terror incarnate and I felt as if the game itself had taken a hold of my psyche and crafted the perfect villain to my inner hero. Let it be known that I was only 14/15 when experiencing this game. The fact that he would just appear at random but frequently was traumatic, because no other captain would ambush me. There’s the section of the game where during the story you lead a siege against the hand of sauron and your nemesis appears. A harrowing scene, but I beat him for the final time and he never appeared again. It was almost symbolic.
Then shadow of war came out. And because of the genius of cross-game-progression.. the evil of mogg the undying was released once more. It had been a few years since the previous game, but the terror of seeing him again has been unmatched. Like the losers club from It chapter 2, here he was again. Thanks to the new abilities, I put him down for the last time, but not without respect and reverence to his merciless defiance and endless quest to stop me from playing the game.
An absolutely incredible experience and my personal favourite boss in any game series because of how perfectly tuned it was to my playstyle and apparently my mind. I’ll never experience anything like it again and I’m happy with that. Mogg the undying was my personal demon, my test, and that’s why these games were so powerful. If you read this far, I hope you found some enjoyment in my ramblings, thank you.
this game (shadow of War) is cursed for me now and forever.... you see i played DnD with a friend and he made a goblin Alchemist named Pug (special symbol over u) >.> not only did the first orc i die to in this game share the name... he shared the class and profession... Pug the Alchemist... i knew the moment i saw this orc, i was in for hell on Middle-Earth. you see this was my 100% run, which meant i did a lot of farming, a lot of collectable hunting and a lot of dying... in the end, Pug killed my pay to win Orcs within 2 hours of me getting them... he appeared during a crucial raid against a friends keep and killed me... the friend? Pug's very own purple lightening wielding piece of shit player... yeah >.> Pug is the reason this game is still not 100%... he will forever remain my nemesis, i suspect when i play Wonder Woman i will see him there as well, rebirthed as some lowly thug. thanks for the video Q.Q
ОтветитьHow the hell is it even legal to trade mark a game mechanic? Imagine if dark souls copyrighted rolling so no other games could let you roll.
ОтветитьI had an orc name Dugz the drooler. He is. Basic weapon orc with the drunk orc personality but this orc is literally unkillable.I sent like 4 enemy orcs at him once in shadow of war and he was chillin'

ОтветитьIt was Shadow of War, and I don't remember his name, but I found an orc who was terrified of Morgai flies, so for kicks I dropped a nest on his head and laughed while he ran away. He proceeded to come back as "of the flies" with practically no weaknesses and kill me two times in succession, level up to 70 something and get promoted to overlord of the keep I was trying to take down. Karma's a bitch, I guess.
ОтветитьI used to do the threaten mechanic in one of the middle earth games cuz i thought i'd get better rewards if they were higher level but it was a grave mistake cuz this one orc was already level 22 and became like 27 then i finally killed him but he came back a few levels higher again. By the end he was like level 39 and i never tried to fight him again cuz he kept killing me lol. The guy had all the best abilities and no weaknesses just a super tough fight at that point in the game for me lmao
ОтветитьGood thing they patented the Nemesis system just to never use it again ^^.
ОтветитьMy favorite Uruk ever was Prak The Elder, he was the first Uruk to kill me and his catchprhase was to practically shriek " YOUNG MAN" Across the room for all to hear when he'd spotted me , he would murder me two more itmes before I'd finally get the upper hand . I slit his throat, shot out his eye , and killed him in an explosion only for him to come back again and again . I thought i'd killed him in the explosion yet one day while sneaking around a base I heard a loud shriek. YOUNG MAN from far behind me, Prak at this point was faceless from the burns he'd received and had a bad hastily thrown over the majority of what remained of his face. I ran as he caught me at a terrible time and I decided to finally kill him one last time and plotted. I would hunt Prak and we'd have an epic sword fight, when I finally made him yield and drop to his knees the eyes peering through the bag were big and he expressed a solemn " No Like this" before Talion shoved a sword through his face.
Honestly one of my favorite videogame enemies ever.
Would you think of choosing a region In the sequel and doing the same? 👀
Ответитьi just started playing shadow of war on brutal difficulty and let me tell you, it is not easy to learn the controls while on the hardest difficultly. there was one uruk in the starting city, he is a ranger and had a multi shot attack that he keeps doing. i cannot parry multishot attacks and its not easy to dodge them when youre busy fighting 5 other uruks rightt beside your nemesis. im level 5 and hes currently level 37
ОтветитьLamlug dying to his own Mace spawning out of Talian might be the most random thing I have seen in this game.
ОтветитьGamesOnHardMode's Hura the Hell-Hawk vs TearOfGrace's Prak Jaws
Match of the century
Very much enjoyed this. Between testing the game out in this way, and the editing and commentary, was very entertaining, and despite the silliness, oddly immersive. Magic of the nemesis system/effective entertaining chops for you. Highly recommend trying the same with Shadow of War, even better results there I'm sure.
ОтветитьHura is the GOAT. Also, my answer for the "impossible question" is B, because I've played Shadow of Mordor and War since they both came out and I know how the games work.
ОтветитьCommenting and liking for that pun at the beginning 👍👍
ОтветитьCod I wish I could remember, it's been many years since I played Mordor and War. Still love them to bits though. One of a kind. Cod, if only everyone else could use the Nemesis system… >:c
ОтветитьHura is clearly voiced by Travis Willingham, who voices Grog in Critical Role. This is why he both ascended Mordor society and transcended the Shadow of Morder itself. The game code cannot let such a resonant baritone be randomly recycled into another orc. No, Hura is unique. Hura is the hero of Shadow of Mordor. Hura can never die because his wife too is dead.

ОтветитьI still have wonderful memories of Zuun the thunderer, with his own explosive crossbow, combat master, and could bitch slap me with the crossbow for 2/3 my health.
ОтветитьGod I want more LOTR games
(they don’t have to have the nemesis system to be great, but we can all agree that Nemeis is freaking awesome)
