ОтветитьIm all for building new and better things.
Go EU.
Yes, I'm from Europe (Netherlands). And yes, I do brlieve the Ten-T network will be finished by 2050. Furthermore, I believe the EU will expand to cover virtually the entire continent as if it were one nation. In fact, I think in lots of ways it will function as one nation. With English as the main language and with a central, federal government in Brussels but at the same time preserving each state's own heritage, culture and language. There are many issues that need to be dealt with on a Europe-wide scale, like a EU armed forces, EU federal police and EU transportation network. But also traffic rules and equal rights, privileges and duties for all 748 million Europeans. Europe will be a global superpower once we can achieve all of the above.
ОтветитьIt wouldt be states😂 and also europe has 51 countries.
ОтветитьThe Schengen open border agreement was the biggest Political hurdle. The rest is budget and labor and that will be solved over time.
ОтветитьVery interesting project but what seems to be bugging me is wether the national infrastructures that already exist are being modernized and expanedd or wether they're bulding completely new infrastrcutures. Furthermore the environmental aspect is something to look after as the EU needs a better transportation connection within its borders but it also has clear environmental goals.
ОтветитьGiven the progress in communication and transport technologies, a consolidation of national states into bigger and bigger administrative units seems inevitable, the only open question is where the centers of power will be.
Btw, why exclude Russia as EU member candidate? It’s certainly true in the current political situation, but who knows how the political landscape will look like in 20 years? I mean, imagine You travel in time to 1985, and tell the people how the politics of Europe will look like 2005…
This project is not good for the environment and is too costly.
