Minecraft Early Game Chicken Farm (No Nether Items)

I built a version of this recently. I was wondering why I would keep getting feathers and no cooked chicken. It was all going into the lava, just like you said. I put a minecart with hopper where you have the hopper (since those grab items quicker) and then I put a hopper under that. I started getting cooked chicken! But I'm sure some was still burning. I didn't think of the solution you shared. I love it!

Need someone's help. I built this farm but im having an issue with the top hopper not grabbing the eggs and funneling them into the dispenser. How do i fix this?

I just built this but none of the eggs are going through the hopper at all, nothing is actually. I dont think it has to do with the hopper itself cause i had to redo the whole process again and tested it the second time i built it and it worked just fine but when i added the chickens it started acting screwy again, does anyone know how to fix this?

If we don’t want the constant clicking sound when there’s nothing to dispense can we use comparators and repeaters instead?

Very good! You can also improve it by adding more hoppers with chickens, but the income is small cuz of chicken growing time is long, but you dont have to do anything and get a free food

with the lava annd cooked chicken problem, theoretically cant you just build the non lava one but then have a hopper under the chest and build a super smelter so it all goes to get smelted?

Hey the farm that I built works but the eggs are not getting collected in the hopper and I have to collect them and then put them into the dispenser can you tell me what's the issue

Bro my eggs goes up and burn from lava

i made the farm split up my eggs then half went to the actual farm but half went to my friends base to get dispensed he never found why he had so many chickens spawning in his base

Nice chicken no nether farm work!

I normally use a comparator and two repeaters, never thought to use burnout torches. Very nice and efficient.
