Read the arc again because some parts went over my head before the series aired. Pretty much confirmed the theory that Ichigo is practically a budding Soul King himself as he carries all the aspects of the realms. Human, shinigami, hollow/vizard, quincy. And that Squad 0 plan in forcing him as the next soul king one the current dies

I like the idea that when kirinji met unohana she was but a blood thirsty murderer but under his tutilidge she became based mom.

The scary shit is, she probably did not heal them on purpose in order to let them go to the Soul King Palace. She brought back Zaraki from nothing more than a skeleton with eyeballs, it's just child's play for her. And she never put that much effort into training to her Kaido on others, but then she really got the "fuck this shit, I'm out" treatment just getting stabbed.

I’ll miss unohana. Some of her interactions with the different squad members were funny. Especially during the zanpakto (most likely horribly misspelled) rebellion

He's probably the only one in all of Soul Society other than Yamamoto (who is dead at this point) who both knows how monstrous she is and yet isn't intimidated by her. I suppose Ichibei wouldn't be either, but we never see proof of that. It's a shame that, with the exception of Ichibei and, to an extent, Oetsu, Squad Zero became nerfed.

Gotei 13 has no strong healer at least when Unohana died. And her healing techniques are for another and just above average at least but compared to Isane or any other with medical technique it’s nothing. One thing that slowed them up too is healing during TYBW. Thankfully Mayuri has other ways 🎉

In the healing aspect he surpassed Unohana, but in terms of fighting we can't say since she is from the original gotei 13 and he isn't probably from the later years,like Hikifune got promoted to zero division to be replaced by Urahara.The original gotei is OP Ywach acknowledges them and their abilities.

See I happen to think it's some point in the past after who know Unohanna gave up the sword being defeated by a younger Kenpachi, she learned the healing arts from Tenjiro, then soon afterwards he got promoted to the zero division and she took over in his place is captain of squad 4. And as old as some of the squad zero members are you would think that some of them would at least have been in the original gotei but that never happened to my surprise. So maybe Tenjiro and others were captains after the oringal gotei memebers were put in Muken, died, or retired and then later got promoted in the Zero division

Nah. I see her character fitting for that role. After all, she was the first Kenpachi who wanted someone to surpass her and be the next Kenpachi. That's why she chose Zaraki as a kid to become the next Kenpachi. However, he was still a child and wasn't even a Soul Reaper yet who could beat her. She then became a captain of the 4th division so she could keep healing to become stronger. She actually killed Zaraki but decided that he will keep her legacy regardless of Zaraki's wishes. Also, he wanted to fight her. And plus, there can only be one Kenpachi in each era. It makes perfect sense to have Kyoraku order, especially since Yamamoto won't want to because of rules and laws, having trained him only for one day. So her dying makes a perfect sense.

Yall finna make Unohana come back to life and kill this man herself with these dishonest titles.

She is a complex character, she did not want the name Kenpachi anymore and gave that up when she became squad 4 captain. Yamamoto honoured her choice to longer be a violent criminal, that was his last order to keep her away from the battle field. This is why you see Isane have some releif when Zaraki tells her he killed her and no longer has the burden of the name kenpachi. People just want a good fight, but she fought enough and plenty for soul society back she was kenpachi, and I think the writing around her character in this arc was splendid to show that she changed and simply wanted to be a healer (this was difficult though when she saw so many comrades die in this arc).

If she's still alive it will awesome to see again her bankia Minazuki over Sternritter. And healed all shinigami.

When squad zero got bodied, I felt bad for them at first. But after I learned their intentions with ichigo and those around him should he refuse to do something, I don't feel so bad about them getting bodied.
