The thing i found amazing about revan is that he uses the whole force, not just light or dark, like the bendu.
He is in the same way of the force than valkorion, using every power he can to obtain what he wants (its just that valkorion was more evil and found by sith unlike revan)

You forgot to mention he also invented force life drain. In the book of Sith, Darth Bane states that life drain is a move "taught by the holocron of Darth Revan" and basically nowhere else, implying he invented it considering nobody else knew it.

Revan was the best of both the jedi and the sith both of them had flaws which revan clearly saw but only the sith learned from him the Jedi's ego prevented them from fixing their flaws that's why they paid for that mistake many years after they should have listened to Revan when he tried to help them
