Thank you for this video. One of the tri-point screws the goes to the battery cable plate was stripped. I tried many ways to unscrew it, but no luck. I continued with your video anyway and did everything, but never disconnected the battery. After putting it all back together with the new screen, it did turn on and worked. Having the battery still connected is risky, but I was lucky and did not fry anything.

When a 30 minute video takes you 6 hours! I foolishly watched another demo first, I got my screws mixed up, then I watched your demo and successfully put it back together, then I realised I had a waterproof gel thing so had to take it apart again and then put it back together. I forgot to turn my phone off but thank god the battery was empty when I had put it back together, I didn't test the new screen or disconnect the battery. It works!! :D THANK YOU

Honestly you and the rest of y’all people who do this put in the damn link on where to get the replacement screen

The True Tone feature won't work anymore unless you reprogram the new screen with a reprogrammer
