This is the man who inspired CM Punk, MJF and The Miz. Now as an adult i appreciate his work and legacy. The Hot-Rod was a great one.

His energy is what set him apart from everyone else, absolute legend ❤

Let no one forget. Without Roddy Piper, there would be no Hulk Hogan and Hulkamania.

Roddy was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on April 17, 1954 but was raised in Manitoba. He had Scottish heritage which he used for his wrestling storyline. 🇨🇦

All wrestling deaths are sad. For some reason though, when Piper left us, the pain hit deeper. Its still hard to think about even today. The man's presence was so powerful and so was the loss of that presence. We miss you Hot Rod. I hope you now have an endless supply of Bubble Gum.

It was a terrible feeling losing Piper and Dusty so close together

I took my then g/f to a comic con show and he was there. She always wanted to meet him and this was her chance. There was a line up of people there as he was running late. Once he showed up the people started to chant, "Rowdy! Rowdy!" He stepped into the booth and explained he overslept as he just flew in from Europe. When it came Patty's turn to meet him, she did not want to leave him. I took a picture of the two of them. Just before we departed she grabbed him and kissed him right on his lips. When he died a month later I told her about it and she cried. But now she is gone too. RIP Roddy and Patty!
