Cinematic Mode iPhone 14 Pro vs iPhone 13 Pro - Which is better?

Other than low level light being shadow on the 13 I don’t see much difference. Recommendations from you folks in the comments on which one is best if you are shooting talking head and want a nice depth of field blurry background

Honestly I prefer the darker iphone 13 pro image for cinematic footage, the 14 just looks off. Both are great with post editing though.

Unfair comparison. Oversharpened and blown out iPhone14 pro cause of the HDR.

in iphone 14 everything is oversaturated! in brights scenes, its no details. white spot!

I am wondering if you turned on more exposure on Iphone 14 Pro - it looks really off. If you have no control on it I highly recommend Filmic pro. But it is strange the new phone with looks cheaper than the older one

Something wrong on 14, looks completely blown out, can’t see a thing… whatever is was set on, it loses all detail and swaps it with a big blinding spot

You totally forgot to turn of HDR on your 14 Pro. I have both phones and most of their difference is 1. 14 Pro can shoot at 4k, 2. 13 Pro had more lens flare.

I like my iPhone 16. I like the cinema projection mode the best. Hologram videos right in your living room. I also like 100 watt charging feature.

Something is wrong with your iPhone 14 homie. Everything is super blown out and over exposed. It definitely doesn’t film like that. Check your settings or get it exchanged for a new one.
