There’s actually a stand-alone sequel to Cronos! It’s not a Del Toro film, but ‘Somos Lo Que Hay/We are what we are” is still amazing! Highly recommended :)

I love Ron Perlman, and we can’t lie that he does have strong features so maybe Guillermo Del Toro started the friendship by looking at him & thinking “hmm, I can definitely cast this guy as a monster in the future”. 😂

Thanks to Perlman who bought the idea of this strange dude who sent him a letter, so good when a act of kindness ends up creating such sucefull career... never forget that Savini was once a extra on Romero's second movie from the trilogy
