I always wondered if Tony pulled that scam with Gios hat for the extra money, or if he did it to have a friendly relationship with a connected man for when he needed to lay a beating on made men causing trouble at the copa. Or maybe a bit of both.

Viggo Mortensen was the best choice for the role of Tony Lip. Not only is he a versatile actor, he’s a polyglot with Italian being one of his languages that he learned.

Every Catholic in the US for the past 120 years knows that meal grace. You can go to anybody's home for dinner and pray along.

I've had some really wonderful protestant friends over the past.50 years who will ask me to say grace when I am there guest. I have always made them laugh because I tell them we aren't great at extemporaneous prayer, and say "Catholic grace".
