How to plan an adult murder mystery dinner party

I ordered a kit from this company to throw a murder mystery party this Friday for my birthday! I’ve never done one before so I’m nervous but super excited!

I am an Acting Director (fancy word for Acting Teacher).
I have owned a Restaurant before ... and I want to combine the two.

I want to teach students how to "Act" but at the same time, I also work with children that need help with socializing... and there there is no better place to socialize than from a STAGE and with FOOD... Real Food of course. It is an excellent way to teach Students and have fun at the same time.

We used to have Red Feather Theatre Co... and I have Film Studio Cafe Productions (Acting Studio for Film and Theatre) ... (without food) the name was confusing, because I meant it for "Cafe" where we're cooking up great acting... and now... I think it is great because we can do the "Dun... Dun.. Dun..." *drum roll... Mystery Dinner Theatre...

The last one I did for the High School for 3 weekends... I did ALL the Cooking... and we sold out the first weekend!!! $500. worth of raw food... that was supposed to last, because it was only the desert! We were doing "High Tea"... plenty of food... "NOT".

Some people bought tickets not to see the Stage Show... but to buy the Desert....
It was a great hit...
(NOTE: This wasn't a Mystery Dinner, it was only a Show with "High Tea and Desert") Can you imagine this with a Mystery Dinner too!!!
That is my dream is to have an Acting Studio again, and do Mystery Dinner Theatre...

This is just so stressful to think about doing. I have been to one before and it was mayhem. People get bored and drink. I love the concept but this is just a big NO GO for me for a party theme.

It's best to go to a site online and get a full script and a story line to follow. plus having one person not playing the game to keep things organized helps a ton
