I was struggling with this, so I will share it here, because they're not specifying it on the video.

For those of you struggling to see the "Dependencies", you need to fork the project and in order to fork it, you need to sign in. So, first sign in and then fork the project to see the dependencies.

I do have an issue with the material edit between states. I seem to miss something when I want to change/add glow to a different state.
Every time I edit the material in one state, it also changes in all other states (base state).

Has it something to do how materials are saved or applied? They are all called default material (cant change the name or add to library). but if I use materials from my library same happens ^^'

Your technical ability is good and good for teaching but your design ability is in the mud bro. Can you imagine anyone logging onto the page you designed? They would think the internet (or their computer) was broken. Again, nice tutorial tho - it teaches a few things.

As of July 2023, the Final React Site linked in the description seems to be broken, the screen stays white and does not render the app. I'm still following the tutorial, seems great so far. Regards!

I was under the impression that the website itself would be the 3d model, rather than just a part of the hero section.
Is it possible to 'hook' html and css into the model to say edit text, replace images and so on? Then you could make a full 3D website quite comfortably, if the performance is acceptable

i somehow managed to hide that spline button. I was creating my own UI and all. I didnt follow this tutorial completely but did whatever i could by taking some help from it. IDK how i did it but I am almost done creating my first portfolio website. I guess i was able to hide the spline button using overflow: hidden.
