Eachine E013 Small Pepper issue not working properly out of box - Banggood - Part 1

I think I have a faulty drone or battery.

After fully charging the battery and plugging it into the drone, the drone has slow flashing red light and I cant pair with remote to fly. I have to keep unplugging and plugging back in over and over sometimes for 5 mins before it will flash red quickly and I am able to pair with drone. Then I can fly the drone for 5 mins before the battery goes flat.
