Personally it looks better when you go slower with balisong tricks. It is also harder because you have to be extremely precise with the speed to get the tricks to work properly.

This really isn't that impressive. It looks fancy but i used to get stoned and do this on the couch when i was bored and stoned. All it does is give you another reason to get sliced. It's really fun though though lol
