Single Central Record tutorial April 19

This short tutorial has been written to support schools and colleges with their understanding of the checks required as part of the single central record. It includes a focus on checks required for employed staff and regular volunteers, as well as what is required for staff employed by external agencies.
Sarah Turner is an independent Safeguarding Consultant, with 25 years of working in education, as a Primary school teacher, Deputy Head and more recently as a local authority safeguarding adviser for education.
