And for wooden utensils, don't forget that you should put them in boiling water. Bacteria and other nasty stuff gets absorbed into the wood so putting in boiling water fully cleans those utensils in a way that hand washing never can. Hope this was helpful to somebody!

I know this is 3 year old video, but what about using "Bar Keepers Friend" to clean a stainless steel sink and faucet? BTW, I'm a habitual upside downer😊.

I wish I had the space to not keep appliances on the counter! We only have three half height cupboards so by the time pans etc are in there, no space for the kettle and toaster! Let alone the microwave 😂

I have ADHD and none of these work for me. Here's what actually works:

1. I don't make my bed. It's the most useless task in the world and I hate having to undo it in the evening.
2. Instead, every morning I clean the kitchen. That gives me a sense of accomplishment and I don't have to do it in the evening when I'm full from eating.
3. I make a big list of all the big and tiny things I got done. Much more motivating than a to-do list.

Keeping my kitchen counters clean and uncluttered makes me feel clean. The bacon soda and vinegar techniques gets the job done. Thanks dear sister of clean. 💃👏⚰🙏🇺🇸🏖

I heard cups were stored right side up because in the old days or in old houses ect mice would run around in the cupboards so the rims could be contaminated with mouse droppings ect .

I store my cups upright. Because I wash my cups more often then I wipe down my shelves. And I don't want to put my lips on dust rings. Also, if it's a cup from the back of the cupboard, I rinse it out before use anyway

My husband clean all the dishes before I washed them..so my water is clean until the end

Hi! I am new to your channel and i enjoy every video i have already seen. I also have a tip for kettles. Instead of vinegar i use citric acid ( we use also in recipes for example in marmelades) with water. I boile and... Clean as new. Maybe you will try it also and if let me know.

I tried the nothing on counter tops. I do have a coffee station so that makes it easier. I was hesitant about putting away my toaster because I use it every day but found a “convenient place to store it and I love not having it out. I do have a big bowl set that won’t fit elsewhere so it’s still out but it doesn’t hurt the sleek look. So happy I tried this.

I have the same kitchen faucet you do! I need tips on how to clean my black (that shows EVERYTHING) propane stove top and oven please. I have a horrible time cleaning the burners especially. I have a wire brush for them but the flames still don't even out around the burner.

We have a minimalist kitchen & our glassware & cups are stored in a roll out draw with a kind of like rubber matting underneath that is easy to clean. We get a lot of very tiny bugs in Brisbane Australia through th summer months, so I am cleaning my window ledges, countertops & floors every day.

I always let my glassware dry well before putting them away. I have a lining in the cabinet and store them upside down. The same way restaurants are required to store glassware

I like to use serving bowls and platters. It makes dinner nicer. I don’t buy stuff to impress others. I buy it to use it. It elevates the dinner and keeps everyone seated. We put our phones away and talk. My recommendation is to get cook and bakeware that you like serving in. A braiser is great for one pot meals and you can get decorative casserole dishes.

I dislike unnecessary stuff on my countertops. I find it so easy to clean by keeping them clear and it looks good. I never know what is the best way to store cups and glasses in cupboards. If they have a bit of moisture on them after being in the dishwasher I tend to store them upside down. But I will be changing after listening to you. Thank you for sharing. Xx

I like nothing on my counter tops when not using it. Minimalist. I also don’t like oversized appliances in my kitchen. I place my glasses right side up.

I store glasses upright but I only have 4 and the two of us use them frequently. No dust collection. Plus I don't clean my cabinets as often as I clean the cups... I don't want potential dust on the rim of the glass I'm going to drink from.

I have to wash my kitchen/bath Mats or rugs, separately from kitchen or hand towels. I can't handle "things" from the floor to wash with things that have to do with my face and mouth. Yucky!
