Scotty. 🇨🇦. I thank you so many people were saying you need a new vehicle. Because we needed a new battery and alternator. Didn’t start. But now I think it’s a treasure. Doing our research in case. 🤞. 320000 km. 195000 miles. ❤️ your videos

My wife has a 2012 SE with 95k. It's reliable, but we are getting a lot of pinging at part throttle. The gas cap indicates that E15 - E85 fuels should not be used, but that's difficult to find nowadays. Anyone else having this issue?

Unlike Corolla that was made here in US Yaris was mean Japan so it was better quality and more efficient then Corolla but everyone bought a Corolla because America is too arrogant to see Yaris.

2007 Yaris here. 400,000 km, oil change every 3500 miles. Does not use a measurable amount of oil on the dipstick between changes. Auto trans still great, trans drain and fill every 20,000 miles with Toyota WS. Bulletproof little car.

I've a 2008 with 160K miles in it. It still runs but the body could use some work. Sadly the new 2023 Yaris HEV isn't sold in the US.

Coming up on 600,000 miles 2009 yaris only replaced alternator and O2 sensors. Still drive it 205 miles round trip a day. Did not like the ideal of a small car at first . I don't know what I would do with out it now.

Bought a 2008 Vios(Yaris Sedan in Southeast Asia) in stick shift. Dad's been praising it how for a decade old car it runs perfectly fine. No monthly payments attached to it as well! Additional tidbit is that this car is practically everywhere so parts are easy to secure

I have a 2007 auto with 120k miles, the trick is to use first and second gear which are very good at getting up to speed, but watch out for third, it drops off the face of the earth lol. But worth it, got 40mpg on my last fill up.

My '85 MR2 is even smaller than the Yaris but much more peppy. My '85 CRX Si is about the same size but it's a lot peppier too.

I bought a 2010 Yaris 4 door hatch. It needed some TLC and it runs so much better. It's fun to drive. It won't win a drag race but on the twisties, that's another story. I put loweing springs, new struts, TRD axelback, and cold air intake. NGK iridium spark plugs make a noticeable difference. I get about 30mpg. Took it to 3 autocross events. Has 186,000 miles! I've owned some nice and fast cars, but the Yaris is my new favorite car.

Great video. I bought a 2012 Yaris hatch brand new and traded it in on a 2017 hatch when I learned they Yaris was being discontinued in the U.S. market. It's got a 5-spd manual and gets about 45mpg in the summer. I wish they still made these tiny cars in the U.S.
