now here we are in fall 2023 and prices are 10k below msrp...2024's still same cab and trans...maybe 2025??
ОтветитьPriest39 my first Cummins was a 2001 and I wish I still had it great truck bought them for my wife for her gooseneck her next one was a new 2006 still have it and now its mine with 300k + on it once they went DEF mileage dropped and everything is rocket science with all the exhaust sensors BS engine lights and Yes they cost stupid $ good luck 😊
ОтветитьI just stick with My old truck All new 1’s have Adam Deff so I’LL just change the old Truck to Propane fuel.
ОтветитьNo Thk U it’s A Automatic Transmission
ОтветитьThis color is the best what is it called?
ОтветитьWhat about the heater bolt that can sheer off and drop into your motor and destroy it completely
ОтветитьI sold mine when there was a recall that could burn your house down literally
ОтветитьTry as you may but you’ll never convince me that someone should pay over $150,000.00 for a truck of any brand. And that’s on the cheap side. 😮😮😮
ОтветитьOh,that sound!. I've always loved the sound of diesel engines.
ОтветитьIt's worth it if you work on your own stuff and need it for towing. Don't buy a diesel if you don't understand how they operate or if you can afford routine maintenance. This truck costs 2x more than any 1500 truck to upkeep.
ОтветитьI just bought a 2022 Dodge quad cab 3500 dually, Limited, with a Aisin transmission, 3.73 rear end. Truck really runs good with no bad MPG. Hope it's a good one. At my age, I'll be dead before it's paid off. lol
ОтветитьBoth good trucks, but I like the stance of the ‘20 more.
ОтветитьSo for 2023, which diesel is more reliable - Ram 2500 or Ford F250 6.7 ??
ОтветитьI am writing this in early 2023. I was in the diesel injection and turbo parts selling business until late 2021. I would not buy a 2019 or 2020 Ram without thoroughly researching how many catastrophic failures are or are not happening with the CP4.2 Bosch injection pump. They used to use the very durable Bosch CP3, which does not have the CP4 failure mode where it puts metal particles downstream into the rails, lines, injectors and fuel tank. I called it "The $12,000 problem." I hear this CP4 is changed from the first design used by GM and Ford starting in 2011. But note that Cummins went back to a CP3-type pump for 2021. GM went away from Bosch entirely on their L5P engine in 2017. They now use a Denso injection system. It is true that the GM diesels didn't use a lift pump because their pumps did their own fuel-pulling, but the pumps never liked that. They would run better and last longer with a FASS or Airdog pump added. But their CP4.2 failures weren't due solely to a lack of lift pump. Ford had big failures of their CP4.2s and they used lift pumps.
I have not been talking to mechanics or seeing what Bosch parts have been selling for 14 months now. I worked for the biggest Bosch Central Distributor in N.A. So do your own research on the 2019, 2020 Rams. Some 2019s are over four years old and if they too have a problem, some will be breaking by now.
So since we are now on the 2023 model year, do you still believe it is as reliable? Does anyone know if these are more or less problematic compared to the 4th generation?
ОтветитьYour still pumping soot into the engine! I don’t care how reliable the emissions are….it’s wrong.
ОтветитьWhat’s your set up on your tires I really love it…
ОтветитьI think dealerships are also to blame for manual transmissions, they don’t order them and I think a lot of people buy what’s on the lot.
ОтветитьBro what color is this looks great!!!
ОтветитьCurrently debating on selling my 2016 to upgrade to a 5th gen…but to go from tuned/weight loss to stock is tough….
ОтветитьAfter dealing with the "Death Wobble" on our 2012 3500 I'll never by a RAM again!
ОтветитьYou have to add in the extra 6k for the diesel engine and now your prices between an equivalent diesel and gas truck are almost the same...
ОтветитьRams biggest downfalls is not updating the transmissions. It would be nice to see a better option than the 68RE for the auto and as far as the G56 Manual not handling the torque outputs i would say that is relative to how the truck is driven. We have all seen a manual trans truck that has been hoped up beyond what the torque rating is for one of those. Its also the dealerships not wanting to deal with the hassle of a manual transmission on the lot and its easier just to put one in gear and go.
ОтветитьWhat color?
ОтветитьYour truck has the 68rfe garbage transmission
ОтветитьOnly if you suffer from small penis syndrome.
ОтветитьI’m digging the Fasthouse shirt! Great video my dude, I’m custom ordering mine next week.
Ответитьmid 20s mpg hahaha
ОтветитьGreat vid thank you . . . looking for 5th wheel cruiser . . . now Ram 3500 only Damn, price of poker just went up!
ОтветитьI dream with these truck, but $80,000-$90,000 is a non sense idea especially in those days. Monthly payments can be up to $1,200-$1,500 and huge down payment. So Im going to keep my 2017 Ram 1500 w/ 104,000 miles any issues at all. Running strong and just 1yr to pay off.
ОтветитьAnyone wanting to buy this 😂 just for fun? I mean 1000 ft/lbs of torque is nothing short of amazing.
Ответить6.4L no brainer. Unless you plan to use it for a tow work vehicle.
ОтветитьWhat are the name of the rims and where did you buy them
ОтветитьWhat color is your truck in this video and did you put a leveling kit on it? Does it have airbags? I heard with the airbags, I heard it can tow up to 17,000 lbs.
ОтветитьAvoid RAM 🛑 many issues, that require more $$$$$. Even he says he has made modifications to make it more reliable 🤔
ОтветитьGod Bless You all. All Glory Honor Praise Worship Thanksgiving to God!! Jesus is King!!!
ОтветитьAny problems with fitting 38s, any rub etc. Do you have a video on purely your wheel and tire
ОтветитьYou want me to tell you something ass a semi truck mechanic, if you can get rid off the DEF system do it, your truck would last way longer, we still get derate issues with the new emission trucks.
ОтветитьThat truck is beautiful. Who would have thought they would be 100+k now. Thanks Biden
ОтветитьWhat’s funny is 75k was cheap now top of lines at 88-100k
ОтветитьDidn’t buy manual transmissions because dealers refused to order them that way. If you wanted the manual, you pretty much had to order it.
ОтветитьWhat a great video and the production value is leaps and bounds above other Ram reviews from the cinematography and editing alone. Thanks for your work.
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьWhat rims are those
ОтветитьI had a 19. Transmission didn’t make it to the first oil change. I’ll never buy a a RAM again until they move on from the 68
ОтветитьDoes the front axle and drive shaft turn when the 5th gen is in 2 wheel drive ?
Ответить$180k for one here in Australia
ОтветитьIf you have the money then the answer is obvious. Of course.
ОтветитьWhat color is this truck? GREY? Some shots it looks slightly green.
Overall super clean truck! Perfect wheel and tire / lift
What wheels are those?
