what would you choose (and why) between this car with no packages and a jeep grand cherokee limited for an everyday driver in a part of the country that has a genuine winter and can get some snow?

Complaint = steering is too heavy and sport-like then says the SUV has an opportunity to be more sporty.

Once you see that the steering wheel is smiling at you, you'll never unsee it!

Few drawbacks that made me go with model Y.
No wireless apple carplay and although screen is touch but is so far that you can also use the dial cluster.

So ugly. The steering wheel is hideous

That interior is terrible. Not materials or build quality, but the design. 1997 Ford Taurus comes to mind

Fine Review. I liked the specifics of the features. I don't think I will mind the "heavy steering" in the least. I've been driving Mercury Grand Marquis. I bet you'd think they were "heavy steering!" in your Sound Test, I'd like to have heard a symphony (many instruments, sound ranges, etc.). I appreciated the specs with Option pricing. Very helpful!

No car ever built was never perfect no matter the money. This car is on my list. Only doubt is do i need 93 octane? as i am tired of buying it for my Hellcat.

i know it silly but I need wireless carplay. I dont understand a wireless charger w/o wireless carplay.

I doubt anyone is in the "love it" camp when it comes to the steering wheel. I think it's more like "hate it" or "eh, whatever."

Test drove one the other day and agree about the steering being too weighted. Only noticed it at highway speeds as though it gets heavier the faster you go. The car also had noticeable vibration in the front end at highway speeds. It’s a shame since the car is otherwise a very nice vehicle but at a pretty steep price right now.

That button to adjust the front passenger seat from the back are typical Korean where many of these might be used as chauffeur-driven but ias it weight-based and turned off if someone is sitting there?

The rear window and chrome trim reminds me of the Pontiac Aztek.

Excellent review that highlighted some aspects not seen in other reviews.

It's a good looking car inside & out besides the chunky steering wheel that looks like a gaping mouth. Much more a fan of less solid wheels like the BMW M sport one with a fairly small centre.
