Kudos! - great review.... sounds like the playing is evolving 🤘🤘 or at least on point for an AJ guitar. What a hot pickup that bridge is!!! - I saw TOOL a few months back - INCREDIBLE SHOW 🔥🔥 Adam was playing his model almost all show...with a few switch outs based on songs.

The Dean v headstock looks much better then this stub a$$ looking waste of 20k 😂 plus that toggle location is clown engineering

It seems like Gibson scams their customers I bet that plays like an average guitar, it’s really the player who makes a guitar sound good not a guitar.

Gibson figured out that the majority of their top customers are actually clout chasing collectors who play at an amateur level. The result, mid tier level playing guitars that are priced at 20k. Gibson knows that collectors want attention and will fetch out insane money to flex it happens in all collectibles. It seems like people who are massive collector are generally mentally unwell and are filling a void.

Would Jones get a cut of sales or have a say in the pricing?

But the Price is Not from this Planet.....i understand the Reason this is more a Collectors Item than a Machine For Gigs or Heavy Playing, but please why they dont Do 2 Versions of It? One with no Aging, no DDJ, no Custom Shop...

But waiting for a affordable Reverse Silvervurst ! Maybe Other Shapes? Like a Reverse Silverburst Explorer or Reverse Silverburst Les Paul? ( hoping for Gibson USA Run...)

The “relic” work on these is absolutely disgusting. Just looks like a little kid was messing around and got cheeto fingers all over a nice guitar rather than anyone actually playing it.

Selling a 20k guitar and the manufacturer doesn’t even advertise what the neck wood is… just wow.

Would have been nice to hear the Epi rig vs Gibson without the pedals... I think it's be so close and maybe the Epi even better considering the Epi has the Seymour Duncan which the Gibson version ignored... Hard to compare tones when you dump huge amounts of modulation on top, but maybe that's to get people to spend more...

i mean yeah i love tool and all but 20k? i think 8k is fuckin overpriced for a guitar already. sure i really do love the silverburst finish but even more than the aged i like just the new look already. i saw custom newer model silverbursts around 4k. and that's what i consider reasonable within the range of other standards and customs around the 2-4k range. ofc you pay a lot for the gibson name and all but for a good guitar that's gonna be fun playing for years and years to come it's acceptable.
in the end yeah you can spend a lot of money on instruments. i mean i know a guy who didn't buy a house in his life but a chello. it's one thing if you studied an instrument in college and dedicated your entire life and career to this instrument and play it for 12 hours every day. but this is not incredible craftsmenship from a master luthier who builds a few violins or chellos a year. it's an electric guitar.

$20K for this thing and yet a mint condition 1994 "Lonnie Mack Signature" Flying V of which less than 200 were produced is lucky to fetch even $7K on today's collectors' market. GO FIGURE!🤔🤷

20 grand for a guitar? I would probably buy 20 guitars that cost $1,000 each and I would be way happier to have 20 guitars....... And I already own 31 guitars cuz I've been playing for close to 40 years
