But wldnt that mean that infinite root thing is -4 as well 🤔 cz you multiplied by (x+4) as well since (x-5)(x+4)= 0 or is it cz we took principal root (+ve root) we get only 5 out instead of -4 cz theres no negative onvolved with the root?

You can go from the other side as well, define x = root(20+...)
Than x squared = 20 + root(...)
Than x^2 - 20 = x
x= 5

there are some more justification needed for this. 3b1b has a great video explaining stable points and unstable points using derivatives and the jacobian. basically, a series has a stable converging point(changing the input a little still makes it converge) if the derivative modulus < 1 and unstable if modulus > 1. the case derivative is 1 then the test fails and you need something more complicated.

It is an equation raised to the power of 2 and is not solved this way.
The method is as follows
=(-1)² -4(1*(-20)
=1+80
=81

=1+√81/2
=1+9/2
=10/2
=5

In the simplified poly, its also x = -4 that causes it to be zero, neat way to find x intersects without graphing polynomials, x being the input, y is the output, y being zero means the point is sitting on the x line, just gotta find all X exist in domain that Y = 0, iirc, highest power of the poly= amount of intersects, not sure of that last one

This is not correct. If you take square root from x^2 that will not be just square root from 20+x, but also minus of that. 2 solutions, not just one. Honestly this is weird af. But I get your point.
