PRO MUSICIAN'S first REACTION to GRETA VAN FLEET - HEAT ABOVE

I absolutely love Greta Van Fleet so much my faves are “Heat Above” “My Way Soon” and “When The Curtains Fall” I also like “Black Smoke Rising”. I heard “Heat Above” on the raids and thought this is awful but when I came home I ended up searching for the sound using bits of the lyrics that I remembered. After that I figured out there name is Greta Van Fleet and I was obsessed I listened almost everyday to there songs and I eventually got two of there cds. I absolutely love Greta they are fantastic musicians and you should do a video of a couple bits of there songs and Led Zeppelin almost identical sounding so I hope you read this and do a vid on both there songs together

That voice .. that melody makes you drift away like only real rock does. A new zeppelin has lifted and taken us away guys.

If you dont love every minute of Greta due to they sound like Zep Your ass is broken. Open your heart and your ears. LONG LIVE ROCK and Greta restores this in the new Millennial era. F yeah they rock. Feel it. Its sound that rocks your soul.

And all this sound with some normal vocals and instruments. Of course Marshals. DUH! All the greats use Marshal

I am so lucky to have seen them live in concert and believe me they sound exactly like the real version…such talent and energy. Unbelievable! go see them!

For those who have missed out...they already won a Grammy award, hit the top of the charts, played a lot of the biggest festivals, been on the top watched television programs and have toured Europe, South America, North America, Australia.

I believe it all started when they signed with Kid Rock"s manager.

Sir Elton John said they were the best rock band he had seen in years and they played at his Oscar's party. Slash from Guns n Roses is a huge supporter.

They have played in big stadiums already and continue to fine tune their craft. Josh has a great voice and Jake is awesome on guitar. Danny rips it on the drums and the other brother can play multiple instruments.

They have moved from Michigan to Nashville and are in a great place to make lots more music. Hope more people give them a listen.

My college daughter discovered GVF’s music during the COVID lockdown. This band saved my daughter, she was alone/sad. It was a lockdown. She was not home with us. We all have been to two concerts and love them very much. We know Rex too!

When I got this CD I listened to this song at least 10 times in a row. What a great tune it is.

I first noticed them without sound activated since I was learning and scrolling thru YT for a tutorial. I smiled and thought: well these youngsters seem to have plenty of fun. When I first heard this song……. My jaw dropped to the floor. Did not enjoy to hear a new songs for a very long time ago the way I did with GVF. It’s so beautiful ❤ I am in love with their music since then

Forward to 2023 we now are experiencing the following album release and its spectacular. I grew up in the 60s and 70s and they are my favorite by far in the past 30 years .thankfull for them ✌️💜🙏😌

I don’t think I’ve ever seen you this excited before. Absolutely get that Blur feel in the beginning. The guitarist does a solo in their song My Way, Soon that reminds me a bit of Graham Coxon actually.
