As long as your E9x has power windows which all do then you just hold the button you don't need to press then press hold.
Just hold the button the first time, same with the "follow me home" feature of the headlights just pull the stalk to activate highbeams with your key out of the ignition don't need to hold it and the time it remains on can be set from within the car in your dash just scroll till you see a key and tick icon that's where you'll find alot of features available to you.

That thing about living the lights on most European cars have it also and you can do the same with the key press two times open button and they stay for 1 to 2 minutes, also de opening and closing windows and mirrors, all that also you can do with the key!

My does not smoke also so I want to know what's wrong with it that after 500-100km sensor shows that I have to fill oil?
