The moment that Zahi Hawas was shown, cell phone ringing off the hook, I was let down big time. He has hampered so much progress in Egypt and has an ego bigger than the Great Pyramid.

I must admit though the footage was incredible. What a spectacular and vast amount of work. Nice perk of letting Zahi control the story. Overall it was great but I definitely took most of it as a work of fiction.

Absolutely love this documentary, this is not your traditional garbage told by foreigners, by ppl who dont dare to go againts old theories or by big tv brands. This is made organically, step by step and surprisingly simple if you keep in mind he is covering history of thousands of years. Love not seeing actors, every time he could he would show an actual statue or image from the tombs of the person. I so enjoyed so many details he shares, even the printouts of what no longer exist. I love how he dont hide the controversial information but yet he share them as part of the facts, like the USA altering a Pharaoh's statue to make it look more like im guessing is more acceptable to them? Who knows? I just find it disrespectful in so many levels. Still he shares all this information in a elegant and respectful way. Love the images at the end of Cairo under rain, something foreigner to me since we are so use to seeing Egypt dry and 🌞.
