If you know they have spinal injury or high chance. Would you skip checking the back to avoid risking further injury?

ОтветитьIt's so funny because my name is Evan so it's like you are talking to me for the demonstration. Love your videos!! Constantly screenshotting and studying them. Thank you so much!!!
ОтветитьHi, I am not in EMT/Paramedic/Medical School but I find these videos exciting. As of now, learning about things like this is just a hobby. I'm not sure if I have what it takes to be an EMT/Paramedic/Physician but I am passionate about learning more, especially if it might help other people. I find this channel super informative and useful. Thanks for everything you do. God bless 💚
ОтветитьIs this the primary or secondary assessment?
ОтветитьI need abbreviations for my abbreviations 😓
Ответитьhow much is it i couldnt find anything on the website about pricing
ОтветитьWith MOI secondary assessment you'd check behind the ears for battle sign, as well as with blast injuries fluid coming from the ears can be indication of injury to the brain or tympanic membrane (eardrum).
Don't forget the ears🙂
Great presentation, thank you so much!I'm about to do my 3rd EMT recert, and it's always important to brush up on these skills! Hopefully one day I'll be able to do paramedic program.

ОтветитьWould you really take their hat off initially. What if there’s an unknown spinal injury?
ОтветитьDamn I’ve learned a lot more in this video than reading on patient assessment
ОтветитьThanks for the video I like the tip about checking the legs
ОтветитьHello Paramedic Coach,I am so excited to follow all your videos and I would like to ask if this is similar to the training that Paramedic and EMR get in Canada?
ОтветитьUp in Canada we were taught DCAPBLSTIC. deformation, contusions , abrasions, puncture, burns, lacerations, swelling, tenderness, instability, crepitus. Very useful
ОтветитьYou have helped me out so much and don’t even know. I have to shout you out and say that I appreciate the time you have taken to formulate these videos to share knowledge learned from experience!! Thank you again!!
ОтветитьBonus!
ОтветитьIs it just me or is the person doing chest compressions in the intro totally doing them wrong? As in, not locked arms and not nearly deep enough compressions. Just an observation.
ОтветитьIs this for paramedic school or for becoming EMT’s?
