Yeah Japan should open more to the rest of the world, so that all the ridiculous ideas of the west will poison your society too. I like that Japan has its own rules and does its own thing, minimally affected by the outside world. It should stay the way it is imo.

Japan should remain strict on immigration and foreigners. Foreigners ruin countries, especially when they are let in with little to no restriction. Europe is being destroyed by foreigners and we all need to learn from Europe's mistakes.

Capitalism and its demand for replacement workers is going to dictate how people feel about foreigners. Japan’s declining population, low birth rate, and high standard of living are either going to result in more foreigners, or people accepting a lower standard of living. Like the USA and immigrants coming through the Mexico-USA border, people may say they don’t want foreigners, but you can be sure they aren’t willing to change their lifestyle to accommodate the changes that would come with not having exploitable workers to keep the capitalism machine chugging along.
