I like their turn back to a more community based game however it could always just be empty promises, I dont want them to do what the other companies are doing and 'try new things' like open world so.ething that nkbody asked for and is just so boring I want battlefield back, I want a stroyline that im attached too, thats what call of duty does very well, despite most of their playerbase not giving two shits about the storyline after the campaign they still build a strong one that if you actually follow is pretty good, bf4 kind of did this in multiplayer if you could recall the maks were set in china and russia at the start showing the fronts of a Chinese Russo US war and they actually made it farely accurate, if you like geopolitics you would know about China's hidden new bases in the paracel island archipeligo a place that is even blurred out in google maps and the map paracel strom takes place on those chinese bases in the paracel archipeligo and as the dlcs came out it gave us info a shift in the tide of the front like china rising, then finally we saw the end of the war in final stand.
They also really got into accuracy and realism, the gun play was not the best but the sounds and way the player handled the gun felt so realistic and the attention to accuracy, if your a military buff you would know that for atleast the USA forces they very accuratly predicted the future class set up of the US marine through thier gear and uniform and weapon platform, including vehicles and so on, I dont know about the chinese forces and russian ones however but i do like the inclusion of the AK12 prototype the one that we actually wanted but we didnt get.
Bf2042 kinda did this actually doing this pretty well with the weopons in the game however the uniforms and factions and fronts they just weren't it, I dont blame them it is set in a far future so predicting uniforms and gear would be pretty gard to do but they didnt even base it on any real world prototypes, the camoes were also pretty bad and random
