My Parents experienced segregation and racism more than some of u commenting here as if you...yourself...you....went through it. I am Mexican AMERICAN and Native AMERICAN. My dad is Mexican AMERICAN..he got beat and verbally abused by his teacher for learning english then when hed mess up,hed get in trouble with corporate punishment...he said the white kids did not. His mother was beat by his alcoholic dad, they had 10 children including my dad..beans rice and tortillas was almost daily. Hes a retired CSM after being in the military since he was 18. He was in 30 years. My mom was a Dental assistant for 5 years then became a homemaker supporting my dad and helping other women through their years in the military. My Native AMERICAN mother had to go to an all Native AMERICAN school with other BLACK AMERICAN school and couldnt congregate and go to school with -white-( whoops i forgot to capitalize White that time ...that must be very racist and offensive of me since i just captitalized BLack just before it 🙄)American children until middle school,for her, i think it was that age when she could finally go. She and my dad have been married 43 years feb 27 ..a few days ago. Still in love. Still healthy still supporting one another in their traditional roles.
They didnt blame their experiences of hatred towards them for no dang reason they didnt scrutinize and judge White Americans and hate them all their lives. My mom didnt stay stuck and write books becoming a Native American success for the international rights of injustice towards Native American from the 1960s.

With the things ive gone through the past few months, you wouldnt believe it. Im open to share it just isnt the focal point. The only reason me and my daughter arent in an institution or dead is because of the protection and comfort Jesus unselfishly gives. For the trauma we both just went through....was i mad at God...sure was. Did i feel like He didnt protect my daughter ..sure did. Still do sometimes BUT (this is for someone) ..
