Joe was my first roommate when I made the move to Los Angeles in 2016, but nearly everything we discuss happens before that. We cover some childhood ailments, the essence of comedy privilege and how spending your summers making movies can land you and your friends in a Myrtle Beach jail cell for the night. We cover all that and of course the creation of "AVERAGE JOE", "THE ANDY SHOW", and his podcast "BAD TIMES, GOOD STORIES" not before discussing what Joe calls "the great demise" of his early career as a writer's assistant on EASTBOUND & DOWN.
