Love this movie it affects me so much a gay male in his 30s
ОтветитьInstant movie nobody cares of today
ОтветитьJonathan Demme is one of the few who pictured American characters (especially second characters, who he never treated poorly but with care cause they do count) that were not clichés or archetypes. Made us feel connected to the situation here for instance, last scene of this movie with Neil Young's wonderful song is one of my favourite of all time. For this I am tremendously happy for all these great movies he made. Bless him.
ОтветитьThis was one of the best movies of all time.
ОтветитьTo me this was one of Tom Hanks best films
ОтветитьThis movie is so sad
ОтветитьI lost a friend due to aids. Not in my lifetime but I hope they find a way of curing hiv/aids
ОтветитьQUE ABURRDOO ES EN INGLES, NO LA PUEDO VER EN CASTELLANO ?
ОтветитьThirty years later, this scene still brings me to tears.
ОтветитьImpossível não se emocionar com este excelente filme.
ОтветитьThe key, beautiful moment is when Denzel touches Hanks’s face when adjusting his mask. It completed his character’s arc; he went from a bigot who flinched and rudely withdrew his hand from Hanks’s earlier in the film due to fear of AIDS to befriending a gay man, fighting for his integrity, and ultimately touching him, an AIDS patient, on the face of all places. Wonderful, wonderful storytelling.
ОтветитьThe childhood footage always gets me. As a parent all you want ia for your child to be two things. Happy and healthy. Children are so pure and innocent. Breaks my heart whenever I see the homemade videos of him as a kid, full of potential, healthy and happy.
ОтветитьIch liebe den Film wunderschön dass ende traurig aber ❤

ОтветитьEas that miranda bailey?
ОтветитьUna hermosa película y un excelente trabajo.
ОтветитьMon dieux ce film 😢
ОтветитьDenzel and Tom made stellar performances in this film.
ОтветитьI think I love all the quiet moments of connection between the characters. How they are all so gentle with each other. They show their sadness but also their joy and love, which I think is so close to real life (and real death).
ОтветитьJoanne Woodward, wonderful lady.
ОтветитьModern masterpiece, Jonathan Demme had a one two punch with this and silence of the lambs. It’s a movie that’ll I’ll always stop and watch if it’s on TV.
The ending is absolutely devastating, when the brother (I think it’s his brother) has that pause before breaking down I just start bawling and of course the home movies scene I’m a blubbering damn mess.
About a perfect a film as it gets.
I always loved how kind and loving Andy's family was in this movie. They were truly wonderful people.
ОтветитьIt doesn't matter who you are or what you believe, dying is dying.

ОтветитьI'm 50 now and somehow HIV negative. I was so wreckless and out of control with substance abuse. Even with my friends dying, I placed myself in dangerous sexual situations. I have no idea how I made it.
