Us in Florida have 10 1/2 percent inflation, unlike the rest of the country. Our governor is non existent and we are in crisis. Thank you for this!!
Ответить😅Bananas don't last a day in my house but berries, that's such a great idea thank you!
ОтветитьGreat tips! thank you so much🌹... and have a great day also!🌻🌞
Ответить100% agree especially with your advice to not listen to everything you read or hear. Do your own experimenting and research. Trial and error is a great teacher. Now I must go clean my frig, that refuses to clean itself. The freezer is a great friend!
ОтветитьThanks for these great tips. I had to stop buying a lot of the fruit and veggies when prices went so high a couple of years ago. I have also started to look for "pioneer recipes" in order for really budget meals.
ОтветитьHi i buy food on special that i know i will eat am debt free frugual ❤

ОтветитьGood tips thank you
ОтветитьHere's one back to you Sara...........cooked mushrooms freeze really well and are really convenient. Slice them, fry them, add a pinch of salt and then you can toss them into pasta or a pie filling or a stir fry - usually you don't even need to defrost them. If you freeze them flatish in a bag you can break off smaller potions or I just freeze smaller bags for one meal. I kick myself thinking how often I've tossed sad slimy mushrooms.. If I get them at a great price I deliberately do this. Cheers from Sydney!!
ОтветитьFrom England hi great advice thank you
ОтветитьVery useful tips. Thank you
Ответить$9 for a bag of grapes? 😮 It’s a high pesticide, high fluoride food. Skip!!!
ОтветитьI used fruits, especially summer fruits- for shakes. I wash, cut them into pieces and store in the freezer in a container. Bananas too- I freeze them without the peel.
ОтветитьHere in Australia a ribeye steak is $75 if you eat out 😢😢😢😢 grapes by the bag sell for$12_14
ОтветитьI have been cooking for 60 years and have been storing ketchup and mustard in the cupboard. Never have had them spoil. They have vinegar as an ingredient.
ОтветитьWrapping lettuce in foil extends it's life a ton.
Mason jars are great for storing many things. It's my go to for layered salads, soups berries and even Leftovers
If you can learn to can and dehydrate that's taking food storage to the next level. It's not difficult and I find it enjoyable and very rewarding.
I keep peeled and washed carrots in containers filled with water in the fridge. Celery also. They last so much longer. Just change out the wster every week.
ОтветитьI get frozen peaches and cherries. Last a long time. Make almond milk, maybe cottage cheese or yogurt, fruit, maybe some pb powder or cocoa, smoothies. Delicious and healthy.
ОтветитьI worked at Hickory Farms one Christmas years ago. The manager told me to wipe hard cheeses with vinegar to prevent mold.
